MH370: disappearance theories

The missing aircraft became an empty screen for every plot.

The flight vanished from ordinary tracking, but it did not leave no trace. Radar, satellite communications, and pieces of aircraft washed ashore make a partial story. The unbearable part is what those traces still cannot tell the families.

01 / The flight and its narrowing trail

Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 disappeared on 8 March 2014 during a journey from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. The investigation distinguishes the planned route, later radar information, and satellite communications after ordinary contact was lost. Those communications were not a continuous map of the flight. They supplied constraints from which technical teams estimated possible routes and search areas.

02 / The witnesses are people, records, and debris

Air traffic communications and ground observations belong to the early sequence. Later, satellite logs and recovered components provide a different kind of evidence. A flaperon found on Réunion in July 2015 became particularly important. ATSB’s reports explain identification, drift studies, and how such finds were compared with the inferred southern Indian Ocean route. A person finding debris witnessed a discovery on a beach, not the aircraft’s final moments.

03 / Why a disappearance attracts competing plots

The absence of the main wreckage and flight recorders leaves room for disputes about intent, diversion, and outside involvement. Believers may interpret gaps in public information as signs of concealment. The honest starting point is that a causal reconstruction remains limited. But one unexplained interruption cannot validate every proposed destination, perpetrator, or secret cargo. Each proposal must fit the independently recorded flight evidence.

04 / What remains unknown, without erasing what is known

The Malaysian 2018 safety investigation could not reach definitive conclusions about what happened without the principal wreckage and recorders. ATSB’s overview states that limit explicitly. This file does not present an older search report as a live account of every subsequent search development. It uses those reports for their durable evidence and methods. Uncertainty about the cause can coexist with meaningful constraints on the route and with authenticated debris; neither should be discarded to make room for a more dramatic story.

The allegation, in brief

Secret interception, hidden landings, and deliberate concealment are among the explanations proposed for the flight’s disappearance.

Where the archive stands

Malaysia’s official investigation did not determine the definitive cause. Satellite analysis and recovered debris constrain possible accounts. An unresolved cause does not make incompatible conspiracy scenarios equally supported.

An honest blank in the record is better than an invented last page.

Bring one source.

Which evidence constrains the possible flight path most strongly, and which explanation still goes beyond it?
